These medications include selective serotonin-reputake inhibitors (SSRIs) such as fluoxetine (Prozac), sertraline (Zoloft), paroxetine (Paxil), fluvoxamine (Luvox), citalopram (Celexa), and escitalopram (Lexapro) and other newer antidepressants such as buproprion (Wellbutrin), duloxetine (Cymbalta), mirtazapine (Remeron), and venlafaxine (Effexor).
