Intolerancia al calor - Información general

Definición:

Es la incapacidad de estar cómodo cuando se eleva la temperatura externa.

Consideraciones generales:

La intolerancia al calor con frecuencia produce una sensación de recalentamiento y puede provocar sudoración excesiva. Dicha intolerancia generalmente ocurre en forma lenta y dura por largo tiempo.

Causas comunes:

  • Anfetaminas como los anorexígenos o supresores del apetito
  • Cafeína
  • Exceso de hormona tiroidea (tirotoxicosis)
  • Menopausia
