Vitamina B12 - Overview

Definición:

Es una vitamina hidrosoluble (se disuelve en agua). Después de que el cuerpo utiliza estas vitaminas, las cantidades sobrantes salen del organismo a través de la orina.

El cuerpo puede almacenar vitamina B12 por años en el hígado.

Funciones:

La vitamina B12, al igual que las otras vitaminas del complejo B, es importante para el metabolismo, ayuda a la formación de glóbulos rojos en la sangre y al mantenimiento del sistema nervioso central.
