Verrugas - Symptom

Nombres alternativos

Verrugas planas juveniles; Verrugas periungueales; Verrugas subungueales; Verrugas plantares; Verrugas filiformes; Verruga vulgar

Síntomas:

  • Lesión cutánea o tumoración pequeña, plana o levantada y dura
  • Piel anormalmente clara u oscura alrededor de la lesión
  • Numerosas lesiones pequeñas, planas y lisas (del tamaño de la cabeza de un alfiler) en la frente, las mejillas, los brazos o las piernas
  • Lesiones rugosas, redondas u ovaladas en las plantas de los pies, que son planas o ligeramente levantadas y dolorosas al presionarlas
  • Crecimientos rugosos alrededor o por debajo de las uñas de los pies o las manos

Signos y exámenes:

Las verrugas generalmente se pueden diagnosticar simplemente por su localización y apariencia. Es posible que el médico necesite rebanar la verruga (llamado biopsia) para confirmar que no se trate de un callo, una callosidad, cáncer de piel u otro crecimiento de apariencia similar.
