Coccidioidomicosis pulmonar aguda - Symptom

Síntomas:

Cerca de un 60% de las infecciones mejoran sin siquiera haber causado síntomas. En el 40% restante de las infecciones, los síntomas van de leves (similares a los del resfriado o seudogripales) a graves (neumonía).

En menos del 1% de las infecciones, el hongo se disemina desde los pulmones a través del torrente sanguíneo y compromete la piel, los huesos, las articulaciones, los ganglios linfáticos, el sistema nervioso central u otros órganos.

Si ocurren, los síntomas pueden abarcar:

  • Dolor torácico (varía de leve o severo)
  • Escalofríos
  • Tos
  • Fiebre
  • Dolor de cabeza
  • Rigidez articular
  • Inflamación de los ganglios linfáticos
  • Dolores musculares
  • Rigidez muscular
  • Sudores fríos
  • Erupciones que pueden ser dolorosas y rojas, en la parte inferior de las piernas (eritema nodoso)
  • Esputo o flema
  • Pérdida de peso
